Mars - Can we really get there?
It's one of the ultimate questions of space. The big area that surrounds our planet is a funny place of nothingness. Is there really though a possibility that we can reach the fourth planet from the Sun?
It is a total distance of 56 million km which will take 9 months to reach. They say before that, they will try and land on an asteroid before they attempt Mars. They are going to build a new rocket called the SLS or the Space Launch System which will be much more powerful than the Saturn V rocket that went to the Moon. What does everyone think? Can we get to Mars? |
