In recent years we have seen teams come to the fore by just throwing money at it, buying success. You only have to look at the money Chelsea and Manchester City have spent. What happens when the owner gets bored. Fans will not tolerate the delay in nurturing young players and building a team (and I use the word team here not just a collection of players). Manchester United see a problem, not getting success, mid-table. What do they do? Spend a load of money, 37 million on one player. They try to spend their way out of the situation.
I have loved and watched football for getting on 50 years but I am now so disillusioned with it.

If we decide to spend our money it's completely fair game, it's using resources we have earnt over time. Chelsea & City's finances are a completely different story and make a mockery of the game. I hoped they'd both do a Blackburn but a las, it hasn't turned out that way.
