  Januzaj scored a hat-trick for the reserves tonight whilst playing as a striker with W.Keane. Interesting to note they played the diamond today and considering they had been playing 3-5-2 like the first team previous to this it looks as though the diamond is here to stay!

  yeah i was pretty wrong, still mightve been a fluke yet, didnt realise how good blind was in midfield hes quite the horse galloping around, still look weak at the back

  I still strongly disagree with you on that front. When Jones comes back it's pretty damn strong, especially with a number 6 in front in the guise of Blind/Carrick:

  Interesting to note from today's press conference that van Gaal sees Januzaj as a striker. When asked about his strikers he said "Falcao is a very good striker & I like van Persie. Then we have Rooney, Januzaj & Wilson. We have five players for two positions.". Granted this doesn't rule Januzaj out as a winger and him playing up top isn't unknown to him anyway (he played mainly as a #10 in the reserves) but it's interesting nonetheless
  
  He also said that our injury count is now down to six and Smalling is one of the returnees.
