  It's a shame when anyone dies, but it doesn't make a difference to man utd anyway, his sons have run the club since he had a heart attack years ago. They will just keep using them to pay off their debt, unless the get an insane offer from someone.

  As far as owners go though the Glazers aren't actually that bad, they don't interfere with the footballing side of things and just stick to what they are good at - the money side of things. It's just the way they bought the club that rubs a lot of us the wrong way and shit like the automatic cup scheme doesn't help....oh, and taking percentages of club profits for themselves

  I think they have had a big impact on the current squad, compared to other clubs with similar incomes they have really cut corners in the transfer market for years. It's finally caught up with them.

  Luke shaw is good, but 40 mil for a left back untested at very top is crazy, actually 40 mil for a left back is crazy. You could buy proven world class players for that money.
