  for a pretty dull game really which sums up Manchester United's season, that i actually watched the game whislt still being at work, jammy goal by Pogba, but the Mhyky goal was pretty decent, to secure the Europa League title, and securing more importantly Champions League football,

  They've just had a £75m offer for Lukaku accepted by Everton.
  
  Almost seems like decent value in today's market, doesn't it? Definitely a better bet than Morata at a similar price, and it has the added advantage of stitching up Chelsea. Mourinho will be delighted.

  Decent side this, but then you suspect he'd have taken it seriously and done his research.
  
  Imagine if they'd got Luke Shaw or someone to do it instead.  Pogba twice, Zlatan for the banter and worst of all, Fellaini.  Probably.
  
  But back to Mata's selection, De Gea over Schmeichel's a controversial pick but otherwise there's not too much to argue with.  It's also worth bearing in mind that we're limited to Premier League era here (post '92) so the likes of Charlton and Best will have to sit this one out.

  'Member when they played Southampton at The Dell back in 1996?  Fergie blamed the fact that they were 3-0 down at half time on the grey away kit, which apparently meant his players couldn't pick each other out, and sent them out for the second half in blue and white stripes.

  Another bold transfer window for United so far, spending big money on Lukaku which is a big risk as he's not performed consistently against the top sides and in the pressurised environment of Old Trafford, will he perform? The relationship with Mourinho will be interesting too, I hope he does well as I want to see a competitive league with as many of the top teams being in the title picture for as long as possible

  Zlatan's signed a new deal then, and he should be fit by October.  
  
  What are you saying United fans?  Glad to have him back?  And is this town (Manchester) big enough for the both of them (Ibrahimovic and Lukaku)?

  Dont see Manchester United buying anyone today, as the window closes, i thought about whether not a sneaky cheeky bid for either Mahrez or Sanchez but i dont think they will do either, last i read they were considering a bid for Asensio, or even a £92m bid for Bale...
