Champions League last 16 second leg vs PSG (H): 0-1 (agg AET 1-1) 1-3 penalties 
We fought until the end, hit the post and had a goal ruled out for offside, and limited them to only one goal over two legs but after 210 minutes of football it came down to penalties and we just couldn't do what needed to be done. I'm more gutted about Trent and Ibou being injured than going out. But I guess that's easy to say as it looks like we're due to win the league.

League Cup Final vs Newcastle (N): 1-2
Credit to Newcastle they won every, tackle, second, ball, fifty-fifty and aerial dual. We tried hitting it long but couldn't hold onto the ball. We tried playing it short and they took it off us. Alexis shouldn't have let Burn get a clean header. I think Trippier handled the ball but it wouldn't have made a difference to the result. Second half we stepped it up slightly but go sucker punched by their second. Credit to Harvey for assisting Fede. Curtis gave us some much needed ball retention on midfield too.

Everyone gets a ya messin except Elliott, Jones and Chiesa, who were boss.

Premier League vs Everton (H): 1-0
Three points closer to our twentieth. It was never going to be easy, derbies never are but it would've been slightly easier of the ref sent Tarkowski off for planting his studs into Alexis' calf. Apart from Beto hitting the post we didn't have much to worry about defensively. It was good to see Diogo back on the scoresheet.

We were abysmal in the first half and totally deserved to lose the match despite our much improved performance in the second half. Alexis got us onto the score sheet with a superb strike. We then went full keystone cops to give them three goals. Lucho pulled one back and Harvey hit the bar, but it just wasn't enough in the end.

We never do anything easy. First half we looked sharp and got off to a good start with Mo setting up Lucho, after he singed his new contract. Ali pulled off a great save too. Second half we just gave them too much time and space, then ended up paying for it with Robbo's own goal. Then up stepped our captain, leader, legend - Virgil. We only need six more points. Justice for the ninety-seven.

All we need is one more win. Today we had enough chances to win more comfortably but we did just enough to get the result we needed. It's no surprise that Trent had to be the one to get the winner with all the talk about his contract, after Virgil and Mo signed theirs.
