Into the 4th round versus Cardiff at Anfield. That was a great game for our youngsters to get some valuable experience. Kaide Gordon has the potential to become a superstar in the future. Kelleher had little to do but was solid. Bradley could've blocked the cross that lead up to their goal, but he was still great. Konate could've blocked the cross that led to their goal too, but he was still very good. VVD did what he does, and was outstanding. Robbertson was great and hopefully he isn't injured too bad. Fabinho took his penalty with aplomb and his second goal was finished ruthlessly. Morton continues to really impress me. Dixon-Bonner was solid and unlucky not to score. Jones was good and looked sharp. Wolfman worked hard. Gordon was outstanding. Minamino was energetic. Firmino took his goal beautifully. -

Disappointing. We started brightly, but struggled once Arsenal went down to ten men and parked the bus. Alisson was solid. Trent was underwhelming. Matip was one of our better players. VVD was solid. Robbo was OK. Fab was decent. Milner was disappointing. Hendo was frustrating. Diogo was anonymous. Firmino was disappointing. Minamino was OK, despite his big miss. Jones gave us some much needed energy. Ox was vibrant. Williams was positive. Gomez was solid. I'm still confident we can win the second leg. -

Three much needed points. We didn't start brightly and had to slog our way into the lead, but all that matters is the result. Alisson didn't have much to do. Trent got an assist. Matip is one of the best centrebacks in the world. Hopefully he'll eventually score or assist from one of his mazy dribbles from deep soon. Virgil was solid and dependable as always. Robbo got an assist. Fabinho is on fire in front of goal and reliable as always defensively. Jones was bright and energetic. Hendo got stuck in. Jota was a threat. Firmino linked play well. Ox took his goal beautifully. Taki scoring will give him a confidence boost. Gordon was unlucky not to score in front of The Kop. -

We're on our way to Wembley. It wasn't a classic Klopp style rock n roll type of match, we just did what we needed to do by defending smartly and counter-attacking with intelligence. Both goals were beautiful in different ways. The first was a great team move and the second was individual brilliance from Trent and Jota. Kelleher was solid in goal and barely had anything to do. Trent was fentastic defensively and got two assists too. Matip hopefully hasn't picked up a serious injury. Konate did brilliantly. Virgil was solid and calm. Robbo doesn't stop running. Fabinho protected our defence suberbly. Henderson covered every blade of grass. Jones has a really bright future. Gordon was unlucky not to score. Firmino linked midfield and attack brilliantly. Jota took both of his goals so well. The final won't be easy, but we'll have Salah and Mane back from AFCON by then, so hopefully it'll give us the slight edge we need to lift the cup and boost the squads confidence to win the Champions League, FA Cup, and if Man City slip up hopefully the Premier League too. -

Grounded out a victory. Games at Selhurst Park are never easy but we got the three points and that's all that matters. The penalty decision had no effect on the result. Palace only created one big chance after they scored. We got off to a flyer in the first thirty minutes with a blistering header from Virgil and a beautiful team goal finished off by Ox. After that we got a little bit sloppy with our passing before half time, which led to Palace getting a couple of chances. Then they came out all guns blazing in the first fifteen of the second half which lead to them getting a couple chances, prior to their goal. But after that we were resolute in keeping the ball as far away as possible from our goal. Alisson was absolutely amazing. Trent was OK. Matip played a few loose passes. VVD's headed goal was faster than a speeding bullet. Robbo got two assists. Fabinho took his penalty beautifully. Hendo was OK. Curtis was fine. Jota was decent. Firmino wasn't bad. Ox finished his goal ruthlessly. Minamino was OK. Klopp's trademark rock n Roll football is exciting, but we just need to manage our games just a little bit better once we take the lead, and bring down the tempo to a rock ballad sometimes. It's great to close the gap on Man City, despite Mane, Keita and Salah being at AFCON. Now that they'll be back soon, we just need to keep the momentum going, and if we're lucky we'll hopefully win at least one, if not more than the League Cup, Champions League, FA Cup and/or Champions League. -

just watched the game on match of the day. O.M.G did i mention that i thought Liverpool's defence was suspect. if Palace had had decent finishes then they would have had about 5 ( five ) goals. to be fair Liverpool had more attempts but Palace's were better, in the second half the commentator said that Liverpool were too ' relaxed' RELAXED !!! they were catatonic. okay it is difficult to get a grasp of the game watching MOTD highlights but on what i saw some lowly team is going to take them apart.

So I am sure we all remember the craziness when Alisson ( goalkeeper ) scored to all but give Liverpool the title. well his career has just had an even bigger landmark evet. last week while playing for Brazil. He was sent off...... TWICE.

FA Cup 4th Round vs Cardiff (H) - 3-1
First game back in a while, and we looked a little bit rusty in the first half, but got a deserved victory in the end. Cardiff put up a good fight, and we're slightly unlucky with a couple decisions from the referee. I would've loved to have kept a clean sheet, but all that matters is getting through to the 5th round for a game versus Norwich at Anfield.Â
Kelleher was maybe a little bit fortunate to not get sent off, but he was still solid and unlucky to concede. Trent got another assist. Konate was lucky not to give away a penalty. Van Dijk was brilliant. Tsimikas was great. Hendo was solid. Naby was neat. Curtis was good. Jota is ruthless in the air. Firmino was solid. Minamino took his goal well. Diaz looks bright. Elliott was superb. Milner was OK. Robbo was fine. -
