  maybe its the typical pre world cup optimism but I've got this weird sense of optimism that england will do really well this tournament. don't think we will win it but i can see us getting to the quarters and maybe the semis lol hopefully all the liverpool lads can perform well

  Liverpool had a quality season and played amazing football and so did some of their English players, but hodson will probably only start with three of them johnson, Gerrard and sturridge. I didn't really rate sterling before this season but he's been quality and I'd start him.

  Haha, that's quality. Rodgers is a perv, he couldn't help himself even though he being recorded. The only thing is it doesn't seem like she actually has that much up top.

  Liverpool are in talks with AC Milan to sign former Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli.
  Reds boss Brendan Rodgers wants the Italy international, 24, to strengthen his attack after last season's top scorer Luis Suarez joined Barcelona.
  Balotelli moved to Milan for £19m from City last year and has scored 30 goals in 54 games for the Serie A club.
  Liverpool travel to Etihad Stadium in their next Premier League match on Monday. they just got rid off 1 liability to sign another 1,ha ,run out off ideas.

  I think it is great that Liverpool are looking to bring Mrio back to the EPL. He is crazy in a very entertaining way. I want him to set fireworks off in his bathroom again and dress up as Santa, giving out wads of cash!

  Well Liverpool have certainly looked to replace Surarez but not in the way all fans would want. Mario will more than replace Luis in the controversey stakes and probable back page headlines . I doubt he will replace his impact on the pitch .Still 16 million is looking cheap in light of other signings and he is only 24. Brendan got Luis to behave impeccably last season for Liverpool and his bad behaviour was left for the national side. Maybe he can work his magic on Mario and if he can get him to play and consistently then who knows it could just work .

  It can go either way really can't it. It will either turn out to be a fantastic signing or a very poor signing, there's no middle ground with Balotelli. I'm not sure if he'll gel with Sturridge though, Sturridge & Suarez worked because they were different kinds of players. Sturridge & Balotelli though are very similar - selfishness being the main thing they have in common.
