  Liverpool 1-0 Leicester! Any other season, you'd expect Liverpool to win this easily. However, going into this game, Leicester hadn't lost an away game all season and were and are still top of the Premier League table! I think this was a fantastic result for Liverpool. What class they showed to keep a clean sheet against opponents with the highest amount of away goals scored! Leicester very on form strikers didn't have many chances. Liverpool dominated possession which might be part of the reason for this. Good for Liverpool, they put the effort in!
  
  
  A class performance by Liverpool in sharp contrast to the total bollocks served up to Arsenal fans! :)

  gooner666, wouldn't it be typical and very funny if having beat Leicester, Liverpool now blow it against Sunderland lmao! OK, I think it's a game Liverpool should win, but you never know. Sunderland really need the points, that could make a difference in this tie. That said, Sunderland just don't impress me. I don't think all of their players are Premier League quality, hence their position in the Premier League table. I don't mind a Liverpool win, they're no threat to Arsenal this season so may the best team win on the night I say!
  
  lizard is a cool guy, I can't begrudge him the pleasure of a Liverpool victory, lol! I think he'll be happy after the game :)

  Well Liverpool just beat Sunderland 1 nil :P Apparently the goal Benteke scored was 'fortunate'. A win is a win though i guess :P

  Sunderland 0-1 Liverpool! Clearly the best team won on the night. Actually, the score looks about right too. Liverpool were favourites going into this game and rightly so. The score may seem low, but it doesn't matter, it's still three points on the scoreboard. Benteke isn't a bad striker, but he's not world class or indeed as good as many strikers in the Premier League. I think it's another typical Rodger's purchase. Good but not good enough. It's simple, if Liverpool want to compete at the top they need better players and that means more money!
  
  That said, their points tally this season isn't too bad all things considered :)

  West Ham 2-0 Liverpool! Liverpool didn't blow it against Sunderland, but they did here lmao! I thought they'd at least take a point from this fixture, but no they blew it, lol! I think Jugen Klopp's success rate is around 54% in the Premier League, still lower than Rodger's 56% this season. So, after twelve games, Liverpool haven't improved in results whatsoever! These are the on paper facts! Maybe if Klopp buys some quality players in the January transfer window things will change, but as is I'd say disappointing when one looks closely!
  
  Louis Suarez, those were the days! Suarez, Sterling, Stevie G, all hard to replace! Haha! :)

  Stoke 0-1 Liverpool in the first leg of their League Cup tie! Despite the low scoreline, there was a good number of shots on target in this game, especially from Stoke. There easily could've been more goals! Stoke actually had the better in game key stats too, more shots on target, better shooting accuracy and more possession. Both teams seemed to want this and it's bad luck that Stoke didn't get anything at all after such a good performance. Advantage Liverpool! I'd favour Liverpool to win the second leg and qualify for the final!
