  It’s a bold move making a live action out of an Anime that is so old with such a huge and dedicated fan base. I’ve not seen the Anime myself but I know the style of it and this opening sequence looks like they are trying to stay true to the aesthetics of the original. Probably quite easy to do for a title sequence but will they be able to hold up it all the way through the episodes?

  Excited for this been delayed a couple times as John Co got injured but in least it's coming out now and I have seen the first two episode which was good and hopefully it try to stay close to the anime. Doesn't really show that it's about a space bounty hunter lol. I like the intro they have keep the original and the same style opening which is a good thing. Hoping it wouldn't be disappointing after how long it took to get made and they got Ein the dog in it. I have seen John Co in a couple interviews about this he always serious in them which not if that good doesn't seem  that into it, but has been getting alot of stick which he did talk about in one interview because he is 49 and the character Spike Spiegel which is in his 20's and John Co said that he believes his age as help him said he wouldn't be able to do something he has done on this show if he was in his 20's. 
  
  Will have to wait and if it lives up to what people wanted from this show and hopefully they will release the a full trailer soon as they have been giving us bits.

  How did I miss this trailer looks good and bring the action and the one in the white hair I think is vicious the main villain and the the clown which is Mad Pierrot which looks some what different from the anime which he lot bigger in the anime had to google and lot of the trailer seem to from the first episode which looks like there taking a lot from the anime and I liked that they have put a big effort into the space part as looks really good, they have had a lot of time to complete it so it should lol.

  I've always been meaning to watch the anime, but never got round to it. So I'll deffo need to set aside some time to watch that and this live action version too. I like John Cho and Mustafah Shakir, so I've got high hope for this adaptation. But the track record for animes being turned into action shows or films is pretty low, kinda like how it is with video game films and TV shows.

  Watched the 1st episode last night and was pleasantly surprised. Nicely executed, very stylish, John Cho is great in the role. Looking forward to the next ep.
