  Yeah Spurs are probably easier on the eye, but how can anyone criticise Leicester's style of play en route to winning the league?  Understandable when it's the likes of Chelsea boring their way to the title, but it's fucking Leicester!  They can bloody well win the league as they see fit if you ask me.
  
  And then the point about teams picking off their 'best players'.  Fair enough, it's only really Kante and Mahrez that are gonna cut it at the elite level (Drinkwater to somewhere like Liverpool maybe?) but surely the fact that there aren't really any stars, and that they're all performing way above what's expected of them, makes their feats all the more remarkable?  
  
  Spurs' time will come, and when it does that'll be some achievement.  But as breath-of-fresh-airs go we'll never see the likes of this again, enjoy it.  And enjoy the Champions League too!  You'd have taken 2nd at the start of this season...

  Will do mate ;) hopefully this Spurs side stay together and improve. We have been pretty remarkable in the league this season (bar some stupid results.. hint hint, Newcastle :P).
  Its just very frustrating how a team plays better football and doesnt get top spot. Especially if you support that team :P I see stats and style of play (which entertains alot more) and then get annoyed when that side dont finish top. Suppose my thoughts would be different if it was West Ham though eh :P
  Agree about the two players you named there. Cant see the rest of them cutting it at a big club.
  Anyway with this big new stadium, itll be harder for Spurs for the next few seasons given the lack of signings we will probably get :( But at the end of the day itll be worth it because we will have a brand new stadium and more revenue :P
  And yea.. this kinda thing probably wont happen again for another ten or so years.
  Can you imagine if Spurs' time does come.. how them Arsenal fans are gonna feel. Poor Gooner :P

  Table doesn't lie, it's all about consistency, grinding out 1-0 wins, the sign of champions etc etc...

  Stats and style of play dont lie either. Being a team who plays really good football is also a sign of champions. In this case the team who plays the better football will not be champions. Thats life i guess.
  If we didnt drop points against the likes of Newcastle and Leicester then we wouldnt have this talk of 'breath of fresh air' i guess. Everybody would be like 'Tottenham are gonna win the league... how joyful'. I look forward to next season and cross my fingers that my team outperform almost every other team again.

  And yeah, bit of a mixed one for us, with a few stupid results we may well live to regret, funnily enough...  But, 3 games left, still with an outside chance of Europa qualification, musn't grumble.  And a 3rd top 8 finish in a row isn't to be sniffed at either.

  Quite right. Could BE your lot up top end of next season the way this season has gone :D You never know. Wonder if youll have a cheeky fiver on Soton to win the league next season :P
  Maybe next season i shall be a bit more optimistic about my team.. if they stay together.
  Anyway weve done well this season. Ill leave it at that ;) Better than the usual 5th. Cant complain about the style of football either. Hope our English crop take it into the Euros with them too.

  Probably not, but that's the beauty of this Leicester business (Spurs too really), teams will think it's possible and the very least have a right good go.
  
  Certainly think the top 4 party will be dealing with a lot more gatecrashers from now on.

  Next year's top 4?
  
  City - Pep + $$$$$
  Spurs - More of the same
  Chelsea - Underperformed this year, but still an impressive squad. They'll spend too.
  Liverpool - Klopp + a pre-season + a few signings = more improvement.
  
  In that order.

  Sure :) Thatll do. I think my question before was a bit silly i guess. Its hard to say who the best 4 clubs in the country are without going into the likes of spending power and fanbase.. so on. I mean Leicester have got fuck all compared to the likes of Man Utd and Chelsea and look where Leicester are... and look where Utd and Chelski are this season :P
  Nice to see you think Spurs will do well next season too. If Spurs fuck up then im probably in for a fair bit of stick :P
