  Came across this the other day and thought it was worth mentioning. Layers of Fear, a psychological horror set in the mind of a painter apparently, as you explore his victorian mansion and see how much of a nutcase he is. Trailer below:

  I have seen a few people play through this game and i thought it looked quite good. The liked the idea of the game with it being set in his mind and you are finding pieces to complete a picture but i felt that it wasn't as scary as other games i have seen/played.

  Cheers to FantasticMR for embedding that video for me, i can't seem to figure out how to do that, i've tried it just goes wrong really should look it up (unless someone kind can explain how in pm lol). 
  But anyway, like the look of this. And not really seen much gameplay but saw a review and it says the world/house shifts around you so a door you came through might disappear etc (which is a good way to throw someone off in a horror game).

  Yeah games like that are very interesting and it is a good way to keep the game entertaining. It makes you work harder and look for every detail because you might not be able to back track the same way. I am debating about getting this however i might just pick it up when it is on sale on steam.

  Removes the safety net players can think they have of returning to a room they know is safe as well if the rooms shift. Alien Isolation tried something similar only in that case it was that pretty every room has vents leading into it (or at least right next them). Definitely planning on getting this one.

  Not much revealed in the way of story really, does give a closer look at the gameplay style though (complete with what i assume is some kind of creepy doll).

  So update on this game, found it available on Playstation Store on sale for just over six pound. Tried it and it is very good, i would recommend it.
  The gameplay is simple but effective, you play as a painter moving around your own house, only it moves and shifts. Distorts in weird and freaky ways.
  Can't say much more without spoilers, but it's creepy and weird. Exactly what you want in a horror game, the story you find for yourself along the way, there are no cutscenes or videos.
  I have not yet completed it so don't know what the ending is but would suggest it for horror fans.

  another scary game that i wont be playing but will watch someone else play it, all these dodgy paintings on the wall and that scary figure down the hall way, yeah im good ill just watch
