I listened to two new Megadeth songs released ahead of their new album Dystopia. I thought both were good and reminded me of how thrash metal should sound! The only thing I didn't like was the music sounded compressed to me. That said I'll hold final judgement until I've played a CD copy. I still like to own all of my music on CD because MP3's are compressed which I don't like. Basically the sound quality of digital music isn't as good!
I hope the rest of the new Megadeth album is as good as the first two songs released :)

I do need to check out the nne Megadeth album, will have to get on that. The most recent album i have downloaded came to my attention as a result of the new metal new zeland horror film 'Deathgasm' that i watched the other day. There sall manner of metal being played through the film nd a couple of tracks in particular caught my immediate attention. After a bit of research i found one of the tracks was by a heavy metal band called 'Skull Fist'. Subsequently the most recent album i have downloaded is their 2014 album 'Chasing the dream'. Have yet to listen to the whole thing but one note worthy track already is called 'Bad for Good'. Thats the tune from the film and its awesome.

The most recent album i have downloaded, not for myself but for a female family member (thats myself covered) is Ronan Keating's latest album offering 'Time of my life'. Suspect its the usual soppy drivel but will review after shes listened to it (her opinion, not mine lol).

The most recent album i have downloaded is from a preffered band of mind, Killswitch Engage. The album in question (just released today) is titled "Incarnate". I had previously listened to a couple of tracks off of the album on youtube prior to its release and wasnt terribly impressed. Still, theres 13 more tracks on there..hopefully i will be able pluck atleast a couple of good tracks out.

You are welcome, Randy Marsh. Have been a fan of theres since the first album. Talking KSE in one breath and all saints the next.. well, certainly no one can accuse you of not liking a variety of different kinds of music. Out of sheer curiosity i will check out that al saints track (not that i was a fan of the music first time around..a fan of them though if you know what i mean). I listened to Incarnate yesterday. My verdict : except for a few standout tracks its a poor entry by KSE. They have made in the past and are capable of far better. A dissapointing effort.
