  Personally I think Singapore have got the right idea with their euro-friendly race scheduling. This is only the 4th Korean GP though, so lets give them the benefit of the doubt for now. Just know Korea, we don't take kindly to your 7am races round here...
  
  Of the previous three, Alonso won the first, Vettel the last two, and they could well be the main contenders this weekend. They'll hope to be at least, a win for the German would see him edge closer to yet another world title while the Spaniard could drive his way back in to contention by taking the flag. They're the bookies' favourites as well, followed by the usual suspects; Hamilton, Raikkonen and Rosberg.
  
  The weather probably deserves a mention too. There's a nasty looking storm due to pass through Korea over the weekend and it could well disrupt proceedings.
  
  The first practice starts at 2am Friday morning (just a few hours away) and qualifying is at 3am on Saturday. Ungodly.

  While we were all tucked up in bed, over in Korea they completed two practice sessions.
  
  Lewis Hamilton was quickest in both, with Vettel second in both.
  
  Alonso's looking off the pace with finishes of 6th and 7th, but it's still early days and all can change.

  Normal service resumed as Sebastien Vettel claimed pole (his 4th in a row) this morning in qualifying. Lewis Hamilton was quickest in both of Friday's practice sessions but the Mercedes man will have to settle for 2nd on the grid for tomorrow's race.
  
  Mark Webber was 3rd quickest but the 10-place grid penalty he picked up in Singapore means he'll start in 13th, with Romain Grosjean taking his place. Rosberg is 4th and Alonso 5th. Here are the results in full
  
  So, another Vettel win then?

  I managed to catch the Qualifying this morning and it was indeed 'Normal Service Resumed', unless Vettel has a problem with the car or someone 'offs' him, it's difficult to see any other result than seeing him getting booed at the top of the podium again...
  
  The thing now is, do I want to get up early tomorrow to watch it live???

  No problems for Vettel on the start and after 17 laps he holds a 4.1s led over Grosjean in 2nd. The Frenchman overtook Hamilton early on, and the Mercedes driver is now 3rd.
  
  Early pit stops for Alonso and Button with technical issues but both remain in the race, in 7th and 10th respectively.

  Apart from the winner, it was a pretty interesting race altogether, especially when they all realised moving to the medium tyres after a few laps made you quicker, so they all ended up changing earlier than they initially wanted.
  Some taps, some spins and even a fire, and a safety car made it worth a watch and not just the boring procession round the track...
  
  Lots of place changes, and overtaking courtesy of the 2 DRS zones, but all that didn't matter to the man out in front, Vettel... Although having both Lotus drivers on the podium with him was a little bit surprising.Sauber's Nico Hulkenberg fended off Lewis Hamilton for fourth and Alonso could only manage 6th, which means both Vettel and Red Bull increase their leads in their respective Championships...

  How good would Lotus be if they actually had some cash?
  
  Disappointing for Hamilton and Alonso though and Vettel could wrap the title up in Japan next week.
  
  Will he do it? Or will things be at least slightly interesting for a while longer?
