Katie Price gets trolled after quitting London Marathon 20 miles before finish line

Katie Price dressed up in a giant lung costume this weekend to take part in the London Marathon to raise money for British Lung Foundation. Before you think 'good on her,' she only got a few miles in before ducking out with a "knee injury."



Katie's electronic chip showed she was making pretty slow progress in the 26 mile marathon and onlookers said she was panting and puffing and was overtaken by every other runner. Even the safety trucks passed her, and those things go at like 3 miles an hour! By 15k, her GPS tracker stopped dead and showed no more progress. Who would have thought that you actually have to train for a big race, eh Katie?!?



Katie claimed a knee injury prevented her from carrying on with the race but people reckon it's because it was a hot day and she just couldn't be bothered. She defended her disastrous attempt on Instagram though, telling sceptics:
 

I did train for the run ,tried my best in a heavy outfit and if my mummy is proud that’s what matters to me.

Me thinks someone forgot to train and figured her slim body would just get her to the 42km finish line. Tut tut. She was even too lazy to carry her own costume back and got some poor copper to do it instead. That's the spirit Katie!



Since her piss-poor attempt, Katie has been getting trolled hard, with people saying she was going slower than a street cleaner. Ha.



Ah well, better luck next year, Katie!
