Kalashnikov's electric car concept is the most Communist thing ever
It seems the guys who brought you such classics as the AK-47 machine gun are looking to diversify.
On Thursday the company unveiled plans for the CV-1, an 'electric supercar' capable of travelling 350km on a single charge. You're probably curious to learn more. Some quotes: “This technology will let us stand in the ranks of global electric car producers such as Tesla and be their competitor. “We were inspired by the experience of global market leaders in developing our concept.” Awesome stuff. I guess all that's left now is to take a look at it... Ah. See the problem they've got here is that it looks really, really shit. I mean, they are at least owning the fact that the design is based on a 1970s Soviet hatchback called Izh-Kombi; but you can't help but wonder whether this whole exercise would have panned out better if they, like, hadn't done that. In other news, they've also been working on a robot which goes by the name of 'Little Igor'. FFS.

RE: Kalashnikov's electric car concept is the most Communist thing ever
Little Igor looks a bit too much like Ed 209 and we all know how that went down...
As for the design of the little lecky car, I quite like it but that's because it's appealing to my inner hipster but also because I'm assuming that it's going to cost less than your average Tesla. Did they say anything about the price? Visit us @ https://www.rampant.tv/channels |
