  Well, its a new year and its been all of 5 seconds since the last..so why not have yet another dc universe animated movie. Its no secret that some are pretty decent, some outstanding..and there are also  some right stinkers. Im pleased to confirm though that, in my opinion, Justice League Dark is a really great installment. The basic premise is that there are supernatural / mystical bad things a happenin, the kind of things Superman and co are not equipped to deal with so an alternative team comes together to tackle the menace. Its no secret that the team comprises of Batman, Zantanna, Swamp Thing, The demon Etrigan, Deadman and, the one im most excited about, Constantine. Excited as Constantine is voiced by Matt Ryan who you may recall played constantine in the live action tv series. Any who, to the film itself..it's a great enntry into the dc movie stable. Plenty of action, obviously darker in tone than many previous offerings but it really works, excellent voice overs..just a really fun 75 or so minutes. Recommend checking it out.

  i tell you what i was sooo disappointed with 'batman the killing joke' i mean we all know the book and how could you make a bad movie from that. really comics are just the screenboards that the directors use to make a film but wow was the killing joke poor. strangely though i was watching it in the cinema and like i say we all know the book but the guy sat next to me was laughing at all the jokers lines like it was the first time he heard them, about time DC had a decent film out. boy have their recent offerings sucked.

  i was well into the batman cartoon when i was younger and will still watch this today, good post gymaddict cant wait to watch this one for old time sake, and i know it will be good

  Dony, i hope you enjoyed this and Stjohn66, i couldnt agree with you more. 'The Killing Joke' for me, was a big disapointment. Dont be disheartened though, this is most definatly one of the finer efforts (perhaps becauuse it ramps up the darkness and doesnt get too bogged down wih the regular justice league and makes a new temporary formed team the main focus instead). Theres also a pretty fair whack of action in this one as well and unlike some other recent dc animated offerings, the action is pretty darn entertaining.
