Lewis Hamilton says he's bored of Sebastien Vettel's domination of F1, just from a spectator point of view you understand, it's got nothing to do with the fact that he's only won 13 races since claiming the world title in 2008.
And here we are again, a win on Sunday would see the German bag his 4th driver's championship in a row, with 4 races to spare. He says it "would be special to do it here. It's a fantastic place, special track, crazy fans" and Fernando Alonso (77 points behind 2nd place) has conceded that winning the title now would be "nearly impossible".
The form book's certainly looking favourable for the German. He's won 3 of the last 4 races here while Alonso hasn't taken the flag since way back in 2006.
So that's that then. All there's left to debate now is whether Vettel is among the all-time greats...
Is he?
Stupid times again unfortunately. The first practice session gets underway at 2am tomorrow morning, with the second coming at the only slightly more reasonable time of 6am.
Predictions?

in terms of results and stats he is, but his car has been so superior in all those seasons he hasn't had to really outdrive a close rival with a similar car. so i son't see him as an all time great. -

So the first two practice sessions have been and gone. Lewis Hamilton was quickest in P1, ahead of Rosberg and Vettel, but the world champion-elect restored the natural order of things by coming first in P2.
Webber was second in the latter practice with Hamilton down in sixth. Fernando Alonso took a spin so had to settle for tenth place.
It's looking good for Seb.
Here are the results in full.
The final practice session is at 3am tomorrow morning with qualifying at 6am. Not cool. -

how boring is it getting week after week seeing him win. even if he is out qualified you know his race pace is so much better than everyone else it doesn't really matter barring an incident. -

lol i think thats one of the few things that can stop vettel winning this weekend and taking the championship. do you see anyone beating him this weekend? -

Well I think this counts as interesting...
Sebastien Vettel qualified in 2nd for tomorrow's race, behind his Red Bull teammate Mark Webber, who took pole. The German can clinch the drivers' championship tomorrow if he wins and Fernando Alonso finishes 8th or lower. So will we see some team orders? Will Webber listen if there are? He's said he's racing to win. Good stuff.
Lewis Hamilton starts in 3rd with Alonso down in 8th. He'll need to push on from there...

Finally the gremlins have been at work with Vettels DRS ... Go gremlins ... All we need now is a Vettel crash a few safety cars and Alonso could win .... Should liven up the end of the season .... -

i think we need to pray that vettel tries to overtake webber and he says fuck you and ends up taking him out. i can't see him going against team orders if he is given them. -
