  Damn technology eh... I remember buying my first CD Player in the mid 80s, it was a Sharp, an add on to one of those new Midi / Mini all in one systems that were all the rage... and my first 2 CDs I ever bought was Best of Blondie and ELO - Balance of Power... I know I was young lol... then I went to work for a place that made em... and then found out how shit they really were, and how many problems they had, but if you made enough of em, some were bound to work (Players, not the Disc...) !!!!

  So Russy you n your mates were responsible for the 'quality' of the early players eh! 'Dire Straights Brothers in Arms' was the worlds 1st cd single released during the 'Live in 85' tour, me and a mate went to see them on Dee Side, never got the single though, i was to fond of all my old vynil, still think vynil is better than cd, you got more for your money, a big fuckoff record, if it was a double album a big fuckoff gatefold cover aswell and sometimes a poster! now alls you get is a dodgey brittle box that the hinges break on after a few openings and a mirror for the budgie!
