People went crazy for IT when it first hit cinemas on Halloween in 2017. The new take on Pennywise was even more sinister than the TV show and the movie went on to become the most successful and highest grossing horror film of all time.

Since the first movie, we’ve all been waiting patiently for info on the sequel and it looks like Warner Brothers have finally answered our prayers as the first trailer just dropped for the second chapter and it looks seriously creepy. Pennywise returns to torment the grown up Losers Club and make us all shit our pants in the process. Check out the trailer:

Even though Pennywise doesn’t appear much in the trailer, you still get that tense and eerie feeling that will no doubt have me screaming in the cinema. The second chapter stars James McAvoy as Bill, Jessica Chastain as Beverly, Bill Hader as Richie, Isaiah Mustafa as Mike, Andy Bean as Stanley, Jay Ryan as Ben, and James Ransone as Eddie. The original cast will also appear in flashbacks so all in all, I’d say we’re in for a real treat.

IT: Chapter 2 is due to hit cinemas on 6th September.
