  Thanks for posting the extended recent trailer for this, confusedCoyote. I saw this last weekend during the ad break for 11.22.63. As pure popcorn fodder, i will admit that this does look pretty shit hot. Was wondering what the powers that be would be able to pull out of the bag effects wise given its been some 20 or so years since the grounbreaking first film. If the trailers anything to go buy, all the stops have been pulled out. Its gonna be big, its gonna be flashy, its gonna be loud..its probably also gonna be another cheese fest love letter to america (merely an observation, a fact that can be overlooked). Am gonna wait for the home release though, cant keep going to the cinema (it gets expensive).

  Downloaded and watched Independence Day : Resurgence last weekend vwith the fam. For all the originals cheesiness it was none the less a pretty awesome film with ground breaking effects. As such i wasnt expecting this follow up to be as good and sadly that is the case..but thats not to say this is a bad film, quite the opposite. The story is more disjointed, its not as thrilling and the new cast members leave a lot to be desired. Saying that, the effects are gorgeous to look at , the action pretty plentiful..basically its popcorn fodder of the highest order. Dont expect anything cmplex or overly plot driven, dont expect it to be on par with the original and you will enjoy it all the more.

  independence day resurgence trailer look really good, i just dont know how good it will be with out will smith but if its anything as good as the trailer looked it will be, graphics looked good and saw couple of actors i know so im looking forward to seeing this

  If you've watched all the trailers combined you don't really need to go and see the film, everything from the major plot points to who dies have been revealed in some way or another

  If there is a flashback as to how Will Smith's character dies then I'll watch it. If anyone has any recommendations for other films where Will Smith dies then please note them down here.
