I suppose the yanks wish for a Royal Family because they are doing such a bang up job with a presidency and what should be called the un-united states lol... Our Royals have a lot to answer for, and I disagree with all the lower ones, but Her Maj (& the Duke of E) does deserve our respect, I even don't mind Charlie, he's quite funny.... and when you look at all the other countries and ways of running a country - Communism, Presidencies, Despots, Taliban, Chancellorships etc etc... are these any better? No, is the answer, whoever is in 'power' or 'leadership' will always be despised... it's what we do, funny isn't it...
