  First off i'm new here so this is my first post however i have watched Formula one for years, after the testing at silverstone mercedes were meant to be on the back foot which after friday seemed to be justified, Vettel and Webber were solid on both tyres on the long run pace and mercedes seemed to hit the cliff on the soft tyres after 5-6 laps compared to the 8-9 of Red Bull, but after 2010 we know that Red Bull were so strong on Qualifying (hence all the poles they got) but race pace on race day is different, Mercedes were better than what practice said.
  
  Along with the fact that Red Bull always go for better corner speed than straight line speed means that a fast McLaren of button would always pose a threat to Vettel and it was proven that he could not get past, Hamilton still had to race the strategy and preserve the tyres, on this performance any of the top 4 could still win the championship.

  Welcome to the site and to the forum mate, I hope you enjoy it and get involved, the more the merrier. Plenty more F1 left in the season, and as you say, the top spot is still for the taking, and after the 'tyre' issues of this season we have all the changes that next season will bring, can't wait for that to mix things up...

  Thanks and yes Spa and Monza are good old fashioned low-downforce circuits and if you go by previous years Force India will be stronger than what they have been at the last few races and Hamilton either finishes on the podium or crashes.
  
  From what i saw at Hungary Ferrari need to catch up on raw pace of the car, lotus need to make the car go faster on new tyres but at the same time not compromise the car's ability to preserve tyres, Spa has loads of fast corners so it will be another Red Bull suited circuit.
  
  For me it will be 3 pit stops but lotus will get away with only 2.
