That trailer is not kind to the film, but then it's a really bad film so it's not surprising. Never realised when I had to sit through it before just how much of a stalker Superman is in that, looks pretty creepy in some of those clips.
Saying that, Man of Steel wasn't much better and based on reviews Superman doesn't dare much better in Batman V Superman either (can't wait to see the honest trailer for that one lol).
