Denzel and Spike are back for the fifth time but this time with a Kurosawa influence. They're bringing the father of Robyn Fenty's children along for the ride and Jeffrey Wright too. Spike's trademark dolly shots are well used and perfectly timed. Obviously the performances are strong, even in the supporting roles from Hadera, Joseph, Winters, LaChanze, Potts and Thompson. Music plays a strong role not only in the story but also the needledrops.
