If you’re a gamer you might want to take off your headset and go for a stroll because a dummy has just been created to show what gamers might look like in 2040 and it ain’t pretty!

 

The study into the effects of avid gaming on the human body was conducted by OnlineCasino.ca, which created Michael the dummy. According to their research, the average gamer spends at least six hours a week online, with UK gamers playing the most.  They discovered that in just 20 years time if we continue being lazy fuckers we’re all going to have hunched backs, bloodshot eyes, blisters on fingertips and we’ll all be obese due to lack of movement. 

 

Don’t let this image put you off if you’re a bit of a gamer, it’s really for those who get no form of exercise and eat whatever the hell they want while sitting hunched in their gaming chair. Health professionals have advised that you exercising regularly, make sure the room is evenly lit to prevent eye strain, eat a healthy diet, drink plenty of water and remind yourself to sit up straight. I must admit since lockdown began and I’ve been at home constantly my posture has been shocking. I’ll me looking like Michael if this carries on for much longer.
