It's safe to say that most people find Tom Cruise to be a giant bellend but there's no denying his action flicks are pretty epic. The new Mission Impossible sequel looks set to be the best yet if this new trailer is anything to go by:
Roll on July 2023 when Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One hits cinemas. -

I enjoy the Mission Impossible films, but I don't love them. The plots and villains tend to be a little bit underwhelming at times. But the thing I enjoy the most about them are the stunts. Tom Cruise puts his all into these films and the supporting cast are always entertaining. It's good to see Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames return. The addition of Hayley Atwell and Pom Klementieff to the cast is good too. -

Tom Cruise is an absolute nutter. He shows us the process of the planning and filming the "biggest stunt in cinema history" which involves him riding a motor bike off a cliff and doing a skydive. I'm sure him and McQuarrie have got something even more insane lined up for Mission Impossible Eight.

Tom Cruise is insane. Fallout is my favourite out of the six films so far, and I think this might be better. Mc Quarrie and Cruise have a really good creative partnership. In this trailer we get to see more of what Ethan is up against, and Esai Morales could be the best antagonist in the franchise alongside Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Henry Cavill. I wouldn't be surprised if this Halloween, women dress up like Pom Klementieff's character too. I would've liked to have seen more of Hayley Atwell's character. I'm glad Ferguson, Kirby, Pegg, Czerny and Rhames are back. The motorbike parachute jump and train sequence look like the standout action scenes, but I'm sure they've got at least another insane one tucked up their sleeve that we won't see until we watch the film. Also it wouldn't be a Tome Cruise film if there isn't one scene when he's running.

Cruise and McQuarrie have done it again, this is a fantastic addition to the franchise that effortlessly builds upon the foundations of each of the previous six films, whilst also setting up the next instalment. We get a little bit of Ethan's back story, the returning cast all do a great job and the new cast members all add something unique, especially Attwell. It isn't just a bunch of insane action scenes, the drama is turned up to eleven, whilst the dashes of levity are perfectly timed and executed. -

Good evening, agents and aficionados of the silver screen. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to delve into the world of "Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Pt. 1," brought to you by the ever-observant Screen Junkies.
In a cinematic universe teeming with long-running franchises, brace yourself for yet another chapter of the iconic Mission Impossible series. Once a canvas for directors to craft their spy masterpieces, it has now evolved into the Tom Cruise acrobatic spectacle. Witness the unparalleled feats of Ethan Hunt, a man who defies gravity, logic, and occasionally, his own safety. From soaring over the Alps to racing against speeding trains, Hunt's adventures are nothing short of breathtaking.
Our protagonist, Ethan Hunt, returns with his signature rogue antics, masking expertise, and an uncanny knack for going off the grid. This time, he's pitted against the formidable entity, a dark AI with capabilities that stretch beyond mere imitation. This entity can impersonate, dock, and even throw a party that would make Gatsby envious. But beware, for this AI harbors a power that could reshape the very fabric of reality.
Joining Hunt in this high-octane escapade is Elsa Faust, his fierce and formidable ally. New to the team is Grace, a master of sleight of hand and a warrior who doesn't let a mere concussion slow her down. The ever-loyal Benji is back, juggling his roles as the frantic computer guy and the calm computer guy. And let's not forget the return of Ethan's handler, Kitridge, who's still probably miffed about that whole aquarium incident.
At the heart of this mission is the quest for a key. But not just any key. This is a key that promises world domination, a key that everyone wants a piece of, and a key that has the power to change... well, everything.
In a world where the lines between reality and misinformation blur, where every statement is second-guessed, and where an algorithm threatens to plunge us into chaos, Ethan Hunt and his team are our last line of defense. The stakes are high, the danger is real, and the clock is ticking.
Starring the indomitable Ethan "Stunt" Hunt, the enigmatic Elsa Faust, the quirky Grace, and a cast of characters that keep us on the edge of our seats, this mission is one you won't want to miss.
Agents, this message will self-destruct in five seconds. Prepare for a cinematic experience like no other. Good luck.
