The very fact that the talentless fuckwits willing appear on this kind of piss should be enough to preclude them entering a TV studio. After seeing this thread {while the show was airing} I was moved to see how bad it was, I wasn't disappointed, it was the abortion I knew it would be! Some guy in a white suit walking round the stage talking his way through a Take That song did not make him Mark Owen, just knowing the lyrics isn't enough to make you a star in a syphilitic japs eye never mind Harry Hill or indeed the Nations!
Then there was a girl who managed to get all the way through a Lady GaGa song without noticing she was singing in a different key? Cant remember any of the other {and I use the word in its loosest possible term} ACTs, fuck!
Hill just arsed about, mugging to camera and the zombie audience ITV had bussed in from an earlier Jeremy Kyle show.
Its just typical of Saturday evening TV, absolute shite!

Could not have said it better myself, Clitterbug. Seeing the other comments on here, im glad that it was not just me that thought this was a steaming pile of horseshit (actually, thats doing horseshit a diservice, atleast thats useful for something). Trouble is, as much as we hated this show and breathe a sigh of relief that its finally over, ITV are bound to do another series.

Yeah m8, your right they will commission another series, theres only one thing worse than Saturday evening BBC viewing and that's ITV!

You know what clitterbug, im inclined to agree with ya. As shocking as BBC Saturday night television seems to have gotten, ITV is all the worse. Me and my family enjoy Britains Got Talent and did enjoy the last series of Saturday Night Takeaway. If however last weeks 1st episode of the new series of Takeaway is anything to go by..oh dear. Needs to pull its finger out as, apart from the fit Ashley Roberts, it was pretty boring.

M8 I havnt watched the new series of SNT but did see 1 or 2 of the last series, ive also watched quite a few episodes of 'Im a Struggling Z list Celeb' over the past few years and as much as I hate to admit it, liked it!
Mostly the so called celebs are 1st Class dicks but there have been a few ive liked, but the Ant and the Dec make the show, love the way they collapse laughing at XXXX doing whatever, cant help but laugh along with them.
Read an article in the Guardian last week promoting Vic n Bobs House of Fools and they said they liked A&D but they copy off them, said they had talked to A&Ds writers and they said A&D trawl through V&Bs work and rehash it.
I do like V&B 'House of Fools' its a bit madcap and if you don't like them well youd turn over immediately but ive loved them since the 90s Vic Reeves Big Night Out.
Totally new and mental, never seen anything like it even Python looked mainstream compared to it.
Anyway BBC ITV BBITCV what ever its Saturday night morphine for the eyes, best off learning a new tune on the guitar and having a bevy till MotD comes on, then Rampant!!

Oh, saturday night tv on the mainstream channels is all but dead. The golden age is a distant memory. Most of the stuff nowadays is a load of old shite. BBC1 wise, probably the last saturday night show that i consistently enjoyed was Merlin. Thought that was actually pretty good. Think this Atlantis is a load of bollocks and safe to assume im not alone as its been cancelled and the few remaining episodes are gonna be screened and thats it.
