  There were talks a while back about DC giving Harley Quinn getting her own standalone movie and it looks like they've finally done it.  Margot Robbie’s upcoming Birds Of Prey movie has been given an official release date but I just hope it' better than the utter dross that was Suicide Squad.
  
  
  

   
  

  Warner Bros have just revealed that the official release date for Birds of Prey is February 7th 2020. The DC movie will be directed by Cathy Yan and produced by Margot Robbie. The studio have reportedly been screen-testing actors to fill the roles of Black Canary and Huntress, Including Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Jurnee Smollett-Bell and Janelle Monae in line for Black Canary, while Margaret Qualley, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Cristin Milioti are in line for Huntress. The studio is also looking for actresses to play Renee Montoya and Cassandra Cain, DC Comics’ fourth Batgirl.
  
  
  
  As for villains, it's been mentioned that Black Mask will be making an appearance to challenge Harley and her friends but that's about all we know so far. I must say, I'm a little dubeous. I mean Suicide Squad wasn't a little bit shit, it was fucking atrocious so I just hope this isn't going to be a waste of 15 quid.

  Grave, grave concerns here lads; that the porn community won't embrace this new-look Harley Quinn with anything like the same enthusiasm they had for the 2016, Suicide Squad vintage.

  Birds Of Prey will be released February 2020, giving the smut-peddlers of this world just over a year to work out how best to slut-up this new aesthetic.  Thinking caps on!

  I'm sure someone will come up with a Dominatrix Huntress angle.
  
  The porn industry is pretty good at finding a way to cash in on mainstream movie hotties.  Just find a fit looking brunette, dress her up like the movie Huntress and you're good to go.
