  Everyone has been banging on about Suicide squad since the first trailer was released and I can can hazard a guess why - It's all because of the gorgeous Margot Robbie who play Harley Quinn. I've gotta say I was pretty shocked to see the film is rated as PG 13. Are you fucking kidding me? It's practically a kids film FFS!
  
  If you want to catch a a few pervy glimpses of Margot in hotpants then definitely go and watch the movie. But if you're after a dark and violent supervillain movie I fear you'll be rather disappointed.

  At least it made it as a 15 here in the UK for "sustained threat, moderate violence". It must has just been pushed over the 12A / 15 boundary if it's a PG-13 in the US

  It's hard to place really. Glad it's got the 15 in the UK but then Deadpool was 15 and lets face it, compared to what you see on an that certificate these days Deadpool was far more tame than it made out it was going to be. It even had the likes of the Imgur crowd banging on saying "Please don't show Deadpool to your kids." Bollocks!
  
  We don't need pointless violence and over the top gore but certainly in the case of a movie sporting some of Gotham's most violent and deranged criminal's, not one but many of them we should surely be seeing something rated 18.

  Most of the characters are well known and the audience are used to seeing them. From the 60s series, via cartoons to today. It seems that they, may have, toned down some of the violence and added a more of a comical twist to the film. Even so, don't expect it to have some of the violence turned down. I would compare it to Deadpool without the sex gags

  Assault on arkham was just a cartoon..gotta keep telling myself that lol (although who didnt want to see just that little bit more during THAT scene). Its maintained that Suicide Squad is not gonna just be the Harley / Joker show but dont know about everyone else but based on what we have been told and what we have seen thus far..as it stands at the moment thats where the lions share of my interest lies. Do hope this falls near the level of Deadpool in terms of violence etc..that film was such a breath of fresh air after all.
