Basically it turns on goes to the screen where it says Acer in big letters and then shuts itself down and restarts itself almost immediately, goes to the same screen and repeats until the battery flattens (I can't stop it once it starts with the button), stays on about 10 seconds in total on each restart before it does it again.
Anyone who knows more about computers have any idea how I could solve this? If anyone can help me get it going before Wednesday night is officially awesome lol.
Seriously any and all help appreciated.

I tried to get it to safe mode but it doesn't do it, just does its endless loop of restarts. I've got the horrible feeling that it's totally fucked, although I'm really hoping I'm wrong about that.

The fan of the laptop is a bit fucked though.(05/08/2013, 23:59)jesslloydfan Wrote: I can't get it to safe mode it doesn't 't stay on long enough to get to safe mode it just continually shuts off and restarts itself. Before my current laptop (Dell) I had an HP which overheated like a motherfucker, eventually the hard drive melted, HP/Compaq and I think Acer all have problems with the heat sync, which eventually kills them
