  we have a winner, it is The Tomorrow People..
  the show concerned the emergence of the next stage of human evolution (Homo superior) known colloquially as Tomorrow People. Born to human parents, an apparently normal child might at some point between childhood and late adolescence experience a process called "breaking out", when they develop their special abilities. These abilities include psionic powers such as telepathy, telekinesis, and teleportation. However, their psychological makeup prevents them from intentionally killing others.

  lol I woulda said the 1820s... Mmm you may be trying to have us on here? but I will go with the obvious one and say it is Champion The Wonder Horse, used to love that program with Rebel and Uncle Sandy!!! (My other guess woulda been the Lone Ranger but that's a different colour horse.)

  Oh yes, sung by Frankie Laine, kids tv wouldn't have been the same without the likes of Champion, not that god awful crap they feed to kids nowadays..

  yes the moose was indeed hanging on the wall of The Banana Splits clubhouse, another fine program, Fleegle, Bingo, Drooper and Snorky and my favourite was Arabian Knights (size of an elephant...), and I always wanted one of those Banana Buggies when I was little, sadly, Santa never brought me one :-(
