Based on how they were behind on the first half of the series, it will be at least 4 episodes in before they actually get it on tv here. Most tv channels here are way behind the American showing of most tv shows unfortunately.

I hope it does hurry up and return to british screens as, for me atleast, am in that post christmas tv wasteland at the mo. Didnt seem too long ago was struggling to find time to watch all my regular shows..its the polar opposite at the moment. I dont have atremendous amount of faith in channel 5. A few of the shows i watch on their they are really bad at getting fairly prompt (person of interest) or seemingly washing their hands with (Helix).

Gravey - even though she worked in Arkham before Joker arrived I just don't think that period is really that interesting.
Essentially up until Joker arrives she is just a run-of-the-mill worker there and then she becomes infatuated with Mistah J.

If they do reference her I'd rather it's just a name drop at the moment rather than appearance. Like someone mentions them needing help and someone says "what about this harleen quinzel?" or seeing her name on a sheet of paper somewhere.

I don't think they'll let them use the joker, there will obviously be some villians they are holding back for the next Batman's run of films. Though I hope that if they are going to show Harley they can use Joke in some way, or her character will lose her whole reason for going mad.

Exactly!
If she becomes Harley and it's not because of Joker then they will have completely ruined the point of her.
Although I get the feeling some hardcore DC fans probably feel the same way about most of the characters already, anyway.

Yeah, would definitely need the joker if you have Harley. Nice to see that the show will be back on TV soon!
I think a subtle drop for Harley Quinn would be nice, kinda like what they did with poison ivy right at the beginning. It would be good if season 2 ended with a real close link to who actually killed Bruce's parents.

I'm guessing that they will probably stick with penguin for season 1 and maybe season 2 before venturing onto the main origin stories of other villains.

It would good to see scarecrow and croc mentioned at some point. I'm not to sure on the DC time line for batman so not sure if you could bring these villains in.

They can pretty much do whatever the hell they want given that Gotham is NEVER going to tie into anything else.

Arrow and the Flash are clearly set in the same timeframe but goodness knows what Gotham is actually set.

Good call on the time frame query thisscotsman. I dot have a clue as to when its meant to be set. Even just punching the question into google theres so muc speculation without there being any real answers. Im gonna resist the temptation to stream any new episodes as they crop up so im on hold with this until channel 5 decides to put it back on.

You're killing me here by refusing to keep up to date. I need to re-read all my posts to make sure I'm not dropping any spoilers. :P

The date thing is weird cause Gotham looks really 30's at times (Arkham for instance) but then everyone is using mobiles etc.
