  Well I think purely based on the fact that his wife is such a poor actor that he should be banned from even being nominated until he can stop his annoyingly untalented wife from inflicting her terrible overacting on more people. Every second Fish Mooney appeared on screen I wanted to turn it off.

  The only saving Grace..that the powers that be brought her back into the show at the tail end of the season. The bad news..shes bound to feature heavily from the start of season 3..urgh. Throwing herself into the oscars race row, presumably still over acting "look at me, look at me...someone please employ me" lol. Of all the crimminals to be bought back or experimented upon how awesome would it of be if that psychotic young guy who i (and i suspect many others) would become the joker was resurreced by Hugo Strange.

  I was reading somewhere about the end and all of the teasers it apparently drops and someone did mention hearing a Joker like laugh right at the end.  I'm taking that with a pinch of salt though, and waiting to see if he does come back.

  I don't remember hearing any sort of laugh at the end, sounds like I will have to watch it again. Do agree with the overacting of a certain person but sure that is the character not her real self! Have seen on a few of the actors twitter pages little teasers about Season 3 but mainly when it will be shown in the US but haven't heard if Channel 5 have signed up to continue with Gotham. But guess they would be stupid not to.

  I think she overracts that badly that it looks like she's escaped from the 60's to show, seriously imagine her acting just as she does in Gotham and the same outfits among the villains of the campy 60's show (maybe that's the problem, no one told her it's not supposed to be a comedy). Side note: it actually made me laugh with that whole oscars melodrama nonsense when Smith said she wasn't going to go, because that surely ruined the whole night when Will Smith's not very talented wife didn't show up.
  
  I can't remember where I read it but I read they've recast Ivy and made her older, which just sounds extremely weird if she's getting noticeably older after they've already shown her repeatedly.

  That got me thinking as well, jesslloydfan. In season 2 she was Selina's little ginger friend andthe pic and article in question regarding her appearance in season 3, different actress but most notably seemingly a lot older. Is this simply an Eastenders style recast where a character seems to have aged several years when infact they should be, chronologically, only half the aparent age haha. Unless the show is going to jump forward a few years and use different child actors for the kids and keep the adults the same (just draw on a few wrinkles lol).

  That's the weird thing though, by casting news the only one they've recast is Ivy, so apparently Ivy is going to age at an excellerated rate (which is just going to look plain stupid I think). Although I could see a plus with having a time jump and having all the younger characters aged up a bit. Get Bruce closer to being Batman and get Selina closer to the Catwoman of the comics.

  I also saw the recast, have started following most of the main actors on twitter apart from Jada Pinkett Smith and follow the Gotham feed amongst others so will get little snippets here and there obviously no spoilers. But see Camren (Selena) was in Blackpool a few weeks back at a convention seemed to have a good time considering the shit weather! Ivy did look particularly young so guess that could be a reason to recast unless there was another reason like school or family? Anyway not being into the comics are there any other villians that they could introduce in season 3 that I am not aware of?

  Shame they've recast Ivy.  It would have been good to see her character growing up, becoming even more embedded in the Poison Ivy role.
  
  As for other villains.   A young Harley Quinn would be a good addition (the Joker's psychotic sidekick).  Bringing the batman version of Ra's Al Ghul into the picture would be interesting.  There's still the Scarecrow like character created in season 1, they could always bring him back.
