  It is called the Nest Protect and is its own company but Google do now own it. Their latest product is a fire alarm that protects from smoke.
  
  
  
  
  
  Look at Google trying to corner every single area of the market. They are going to make some money off this. OR ARE THEY? Unfortunately, they've had to stop production because apparently users can disable the device by waving their hands. That's it. That's all that will cause the smoke alarm to stop working at all. Such a useful design feature!
  
  I mean seriously now why was that implemented? If it was a mistake, they best be hurrying up and fixing it?
