  Only 1 game into the season and I can see Sunderland spending the season languishing in the bottom 3, as will probably Hull. That only remains which other team will join them, out of devilment I'd like to say Arsenal, but realistically can't see them worrying the bottom 3, although finishing in the top half may yet prove a struggle.
  I was surprised at the Man Utd result, as you say the scoreline doesn't reflect the actual match but it is results that count... Cardiff was disappointing, although I am expecting them to stay up... just...

  I went with Sunderland, Hull and Palace to go down, and Cardiff to finish 17th. I'll stand by that for now, but Cardiff need to improve.
  
  The annoying thing is, despite everything, Arsenal will probably still finish 4th and Wenger, viewing that as a success, will continue to make the same mistakes.
  
  4th place isn't success though, especially not this season when they could have capitalised on all their rivals changing manager, spent some money and actually challenged for the title.
  
  I'd be going postal right now if I was an Arsenal fan.

  I work with a Arsenal fan he was in hiding for most of Monday . Then the Villa ruffians found him . The piss taking was almost to much . He took a half day .

  It probally did not help that i created a poster of wenger crying on pat rices shoulder with the caption "where did it go wrong " with a donkey missing a penalty to the left .... but thats the way we work ...

  my only problem is with loads of my mates being arsenal fans it's getting kinda boring taking the piss out of them. it's just too easy it's kinda pointless cuz they are same every season, even their own fans have had enough of argueing back.

  Rustee, you need to take a leaf out of our Davina's book and try to find fresh new ways in which to take the piss.
  
  Personally, I could never get bored of taunting Gooners. There's fresh material to be had every time Wenger gives a press conference if you look hard enough.

  i support reading cuz it's my home town not because of the great football we play every week, but as a kid it was man utd, so i still follow them of the prem league teams, but not like a fanatic or anything.

  As a Southampton fan, best of luck this season. Despite Pochettino being a bit good and attracting the sort of talent that Arsene Wenger could only dream of, we're all still a bit wounded with how Adkins was treated.
  
  He'll get you promoted I'm sure.

  i'll be honest when you sacked him i wanted you to go down, but sometimes you have to make hard decisions. it seems to be going really well so far and you seem to be progressing. so it looks a good decision, just a bit harsh.
