  Apparently this is gonna start shooting soon for a 2016 release (oh joy lol). Not an announcement thats gonna revert me to actually bothering to going to see this but it has been announced that Thor himself, Mr Chris Hemsworth, is gonna be in the film. Apparently he is gonna be the receptionist of sorts. Revolutionary thinking there Mr Feig, in the original an all male ghostbusters team with a female receptionist and in the new turd..sorry, film, an all female bridesmaids..sorry, ghostbusters team with male receptionist. How do you come up with these ideas haha.

  I am pretty sure Ghostbusters 3 is going to be rubbish! I think they are intending on having a big dance number in it?? They are going to have to try pretty damn hard to even come close to half as good as the original. But remember, Ghostbusters 2 was pretty dire too! Bill Murray dialled it in for that one!

  Well, curiosity did get the better of me. Saw the rebooted Ghostbusters available for download and out of the hope that i was gonna be able to completely slate the film, i watched it with the fam last night. The sad and begrudging news is that..it wasnt all horrendous. I really wanted too hate this film but somehow found myself watching it from start to finish. Ok, much of the dialogue from some of the cast leaves a lot to be desied, Hemsworth needs to stick to action / sci fi / drama and leave comedy the hell alone..HE IS NOT FUNNY. On top of that, while only cameos, the original cast should have been given even half decent parts as opposed to the cringe worthy extra's pparts they were given. Saying this, the effects are pretty damn good (if totally cgi heavy), the story is, well, ok but, for me, what saved the movie was Kate Mckinnan. She is by far, the best bit about the film. Often hilarious, a proper 80's hairstyled throwback who happens to be nuts..but it really works. Doubt this will be more than a one watch but i dont feel as though it was time wasted either.

  i never thought this was gona be a good idea when i first heard about it, and i watched a old ghost busters movie not to long ago and it was nothing like it was when i was younger, its more for kids and its not even carrying on for the last movie

  Never watched it, never would! i seen the girls from that fkin Bridesmaids shite were in it and that was enough to tell me dont bother.
  Not that i think women cant do comedy, they can! i just happened to stumble across my sister watching Bridesmaids and even she was embarrassed about how shit it was.

  You say women can do comedy, nowadays, especially american comediennes..name 5 lol. Im messing of course (genuinely and fo the fear of incurring the wrath of evry woman on here). I know humour is a selective thing, whats bollocks to one person is..and so forth. Im really struggling though to recall the last comedic performance, tv or film, that genuinely made me laugh. Saying that, does Mrs Brown count lol. Wtched half of Bridesmaids back in the day, could only stomach half of it (and thats only because the fam was watching it and at the time i couldnt be arsed to move haha). This said, while not solely saving the movie..nobody could what with 3 of the 4 in the ghostbusters team being, well, shit frankly, Kate Mckinnon's performance is kinda funny in places, being the 80's throwback with a kinda carefree mad scientist kinda vibe..she delivers the best performance and has all the best lines.
