  Thought of another game that i think would be good as a film, God of War that would basically just be totally epic, the brutal fight scenes, excellent story and general brilliance of the slightly psychotic main character, although it would only work as an 18.

  I would like a metroid film, as long as the plot was in no way like metroid other m! How about an oddworld movie or something like that?

  how about Diablo from Blizzard Entertainment, that would make a pretty good movie i think if made right. i mean there is not too much of a story to it anyway, but it would be a good basis for a film still.
  
  ....actually, come to think of it, Starcraft from Blizzard already had a pretty damn good story for a game they could make that into a film for sure

  I`ve never played Diablo, or Starcraft for that matter so can`t really say much about them myself infact i`ve never heard of starcraft, just out of curiosity what are the stories for those games anyway, i`m presuming that they are rpg games.

  i would like to see castle wolferstein made into a film that is one of my old games. the others are duke nukem and may be a second doom movie and third is streets of rage where in the game you just go beat up all the bad guys with anything stick,bottles and each charactor could have a special move like in the game.   call of duty, the storylines on the modern warfare ones are good!

  Assassins Creed would be a great movie if done correctly and have great action scenes. Bioshock could have been a beautiful game with an amazing storyline just a shame it was pulled.

  Assasins creed would be an awesome film if it was made as its a top game, id prefer it if all the animus s*** was not in it though and just the assasins brotherhood. Anyone seen the new assassins creed thats out soon?

  Assassins creed is being optioned, sony are apparently in the process of buying the film rights.
  I actually kept track of the Bioshock film as much as i could when it was in production because i really thought that could be great, but to be honest after hearing the reasons why it was cancelled i`m glad it was.
  
  Gore verbinski was attached to produce it and the reason it fell through was because verbinski wanted to keep it an 18 rating, which he was right to fight for, but Universal wouldn`t commit to a big budget unless it was brought down to a lower rating and toned down and i was that or a small budget and it couldn`t have been done on that, so Verbinski pulled out.
  To be honest i`d rather it never get made than a kids version of a Bioshock film

  My choice of Film from a game would have to be Mass Effect, or anything else Bioware have done, They are very good at producing engaging story lines and there hasn't been a truly great Sci-Fi film franchise since the original Star Wars films were completed (well ok, you could shoehorn Star Trek in but it's not just films)
