  Haha chantellefoxfan, if you had got fifa 12, then ud no that the defence has changed somewhat also, the graphics have improved, and in fifa 13, the kinect is going to be involved in someway also, they are adding to the graphics, plus this year they have Messi as there main man, also going through the years the teams change, so its nice to keep up to date, without doing it yourself, but fifa 13 you need to get :P

  the graphical improvements don't count as that's just indicative of when a game was made and not because it's a sequel and as any one who knows the smallest thing about gaming will attest too the graphical quality of a game has absolutely nothing to do with how good a game is, same for the teams changing as i'm sure you could move people around on your own so paying 50-60 for a game just because someone's done it for you doesn't interest me.
  
  personally i think all sports games shouldn't get sequels they should just at the most get new dlc each year if you're really bothered about up to date teams etc... and then maybe only bring out actuall hardcopy sequels every three or so years for those who care about having the best graphics possible

  well if you understood how long it would take to move every player that had transfered from one team to another it would take ages so theres no point, plus in videos and screenshots that ive seen different things have improved for example defending, player first touches and many more things, its not just improvement in graphics but that was one of my examples, there are many things that improve from year to year with the game

  but my point was does enough change/improve to warrant spending the roughly £50 every year!
  
  i could understand maybe buying it every other year or say every three years but paying for it every year just seems odd to me.
  
  but then again i understand the people who buy a football game every year far more than i will ever understand people who buy every single COD/MW game each year even though those really don't change very much at all every year, in fact the football games probably change about 200% on a year to year basis than the COD/MW games do lol

  haha you make good points, but i might add the best bit to fifa this year will be the kinect add on there putting on, so for some that will be a main reason to buy it this year... maybe some people are stupid and buy it every year like i do :) duno why but its a must have game every year

  well ya know it's your money, who am i to say what you should spend it on, just don't expect me to ever understand it lol
  
  the one thing i will say is i'm kinda let down by the whole kinect thing, when it was announced i was watching it live and i was seriously hyped for it as they made it look freaking awesome, but in reality most of the games that fully utalise it are just silly wii style games and other games just feel like they've had it forced into them imo. i'm quite glad i never got one actually.
  
  it just seems to be yet another case of the "next best thing" not living up to the massive hype it gets.
  
  it's similar to video calling i mean remember when that very first came around and they were saying we'd all be making nothing but video calls all the time and yet nowadays i don't think i know anyone who really use's it apart from a couple people who have tried it once on their iphones just out of curiosity. it's like siri as well, i mean i don't wanna stand there looking like a idiot talking to a inanimate object when i could just type something just as quick or even better just click on a app and get the answer i want.

  With the kinect, i have it but tbh its only for when you have a group of friends or a family get to together to use it, both kinect sports are my favourite on it, but ive seen some of the videos for other games on it and they look poor like i said its good for a group but by urself theres no point not like using a console on a game like COD or Batman:Arkham City where you have to play the campaign, so really it was a let down for me
