  For me what is annoying is that I have read the books, not seen the tv series so far, I think GRR Martin is waiting for the show to catch up to the books then release the next book with the show. I want the book now not in a years or so time when the show finally catches up

  I've only heard great things about this series, most people I know watch only the first episode or two before they are hooked. One of my fellows watched like 3 seasons of it in under 2 weeks cause he just couldn't stop hitting play! haha

  Imdamann88, i cannot recommend the show enough. Im not gonna profess to singing it far all to hear but for every person i know that i have recommended the show too, those who have taken the plunge, not a single one has been disapointed. The show really is like a drug, once tasted you just have to keep coming back for more (usually back to back). Dont be daunted by the amount of catching up you need to do. Each seasons only 10 episodes so thats only 40 episodes to catch up on. You do need to watch the show from the begining though otherwise you really will be baffled.

  I think the first two seasons are brilliant but then after that it just drags and drags. It is still entertaining but holy shit they talk for the entire episode. Just talking a load of rubbish. Nothing actually happens.

  @Phoenixgamer, George RR Martin isn't waiting for the show to catch up, they have infact caught up and already going beyond his writing in parts for the next series. He is just not even trying to finish that next book anymore.
  Honestly I'd recommend you watch it if you are a fan of the books, it's very well done (and at the rate GRRM writes, the end of the show might be the only end that story gets).

  Conflicted as as much as i want George R Martin to get cracking with the books (for the source material for the show if nothing alse, after all, he is the brains behind the whole thing), at the same time, if he rushes the last couple of books the storytelling may suffer. No one wants that. If thats the case, despite being a big fan of the show, i would far sooner it was put on hold for say, a year, to give George some time. Sooner sacrifice a year for quality than ruin the last couple / few seasons on account of weak source material. Im not saying the brains behind the show are doing a bad job, far from it. Just think may suffer if they are the only ones behind the source material.

  Grr, ten days and counting until season 5 begins. Cant come round soon enough. The long, long wait is almost over. Is anyone else as excited as me that the new season is imminent. Think above all else am looking forward to the introduction of Prince Oberyn's family and their inevitable revenge.

  Like millions of people, monday evening, just before 9pm, my family and i were sitting and waiting for season 5 to start. Afterwards, like so many i expect, our assessment of the opening episode was that it was pretty good. A shame that it was only pretty good (the next episode is meant to be much, much better). My favourite scenes were the verbal exchanges between Tyrion and Veereys.

  Two episodes down and im pleased to confirm that the most recent episode definatly pcked things up a bit. All in all, a strong episode. For me, my favourite elements were the metting between Jamie and Tyrion old mate, the misshap that Danearys suffers and, most notably the rejoining of Arya's story and the whole thing with the house of black and white. Great stuff.

  As always i think it's shit. Jack shit actually happens. As usual i need to watch 4/5 episode to feel some satisfaction. Daenerys is doing the same bullshit. So is Arya. So is Sansa. So is Cersei So is Jon Snow but he's my nigga so it's cool.
