  I like that shallow Hal though with jack black that was a pretty funny movie I think and beside the joke just the idea is entertaining in that movie. Come to think of it I have not actually seen jack black in many or any lol other movies that I can think of

  really? Jack Black has done a shit load of films, and some of them were actually not dog shit too. Here's a short list of some of his work, i'm not saying i approve of the following, i'm just saying you must be blind :)
  
  High Fidelity
  King Kong
  School of Rock
  Tropic Thunder (possibly his best performance ever)
  Gulliver's travels
  Be Kind Rewind
  Tenacious D and the pick of destiny
  Anchorman
  
  
  This list goes on, but i think he is best seen in bit parts, like High Fidelity as i find him a little overpowering.

  I think the only comedy film with Jack Black in i`ve watched recent ish is Tropic Thunder, which i watched mainly for Ben Stiller and Robert Downey Jr being in it (RDJ was excellent in that) and to be honest i think that was Ben Stillers last really good film too (never watched Little Fockers looked totally crap)
  Zach Gallifianakis (i`ve probably spelt his name wrong) is funny as well, he`s very funny in The Hangover and Due Date (another one with Robert Downey Jr actually)

  Really? I think the Hangover is a good film, but he just gets on my nerves, and he's playing the same character in both movies. As for the comedy factor of Due Date, I really think the best bit was in the trailer.

  yea i know jack black has done a lot of films, but i'm saying hardly any of them were that good, like pick of destiny i didn't even remember seeing it until i read that post lol.
  
  tropic thunder was a complete piece of crap and SOOO freaking hyped up too like it was gonna be the shit, King Kong had good effects but not a comedy obviously
  
  haven't seen gulliver but heard it wasn't good...

  how about martin lawrence eh?or will smith?iv never been into films too much but how bout that justin bieber. they should make him starr in some films. they would definatley sell. dont you think?

  I think Jim Carey is a really funny guy - especially in classics like Liar Liar and Ave Ventura Pet Detective / When Nature Calls. But he was also good in Yes Man and Bruce Almighty.
  
  Another funny guy for me is Adam Sandler. Happy Gilmore and Grown Ups is some of his best work. And who does remember Scuba Steve?? lol

  Adam Sandler is good sometimes, i find him more hit and miss, for example Click wasn't funny. at all. It was a serious film billed as a comedy, and i felt cheated when it was over. But Happy Gilmore rocks and the wedding singer is a great feel good film.
