lol, I think you must really like Nascar but too ashamed to admit it!! I am not ashamed though, Nascar is OK, been an Earnhardt Jr fan for a while although it seems he'll never live up to his fathers reputation, a pity... Although this season and last he is up there close to the points lead.
It does look boring with them going round and round and round (and round...), but it's quite a skill being centimetres from another car at 200mph, and also lasts considerably longer than your F1 race, so more value for your dollar (and the sponsors dollar).
You get 36 races over 10 months (in the Sprint cup series), also day and day / night races, and a smattering of 'street' circuits, so a bit of something for everyone, unless you're not into the American way of doing things, then you'll probably hate it... But they do seem a bit namby pamby when it comes to rain, so F1 has the edge there.
Oh yes and they have a very pretty Danica Patrick, so come on F1 pull your finger out...
But if you're not into closed wheel racing then you have to check out the Indy car series... -

Really don't know anything about nascar except they sell it in asda in banana/chocolate and strawberry flavours and you mix it with milk! Anyway the BBC F1 coverage has been much improved by the addition of Suzi Perry, now they just need to get rid of the Chuckle Brothers, replace them with Suzanne Ried and Natasha Kaplinski, and ill start watching it again!

Also you have lots of crashes and wrecks.. and unfortunately some deaths as was the case with Dale Earnhardt Jrs father at Daytona in 2001 in a last lap collison...
