That is the smallest mentality I have ever come across. These things invariably effect everyone even if they aren't on your doorstep on this very day.
It might be to you,but tell me in your life time on this earth, how many presidents have you seen come and go,has it affected your personal life in anyway,NO I don't think so. -

He didn't get the votes. He got the "Electoral votes" by getting 797,724 FEWER votes than Clinton. Once again showing the system needs an overhaul

Yes! It Has! Are you crazy? Presidents affect global economies straight away. Before trump even became presidential-elect and only showed signs of being in the lead the FTSE 100 dropped.
The way Trump views the world is small minded and bigoted, this has a knock on affect of the progression of race relationships among the public. Not saying that every one who chose to leave Europe was racist but there has been a rise in race related incidents reported since Brexit and the same is likely for the US. We may be have boundaries by borders but that is only physical, the current media, televised and online allows for boundary-less sharing of ideologies and the current ones being bounded around of building walls and exclusion of those from certain religious beliefs travel far and wide and prick up the ears of ignoramuses all over.

Thing is, whether you like the prick or not he was voted in by people who were sick of lying politicians giving out all the usual soundbites ‘Ill do this, ill do that, for you’ then doing fuckall.
We all know the guys a nob but the Yanks in the rust belt thought he just might, just might, do something for them even if he is gonna put barbers out of business trending his new hair style and I use the word ‘style’ in its loosest possible terms!
All that shit about building a wall and the Mexicans are gonna pay for it is just that ‘shit’ how the fux he gonna do that? why the fuck would the Mexicans pay? he just says things like that coz he thinks that's what the rednecks wanna hear.
Democracy in action innit, just like here with Brexit, the peeps who voted to stay in now want another referendum to see if it gos the other way, or the gang of traitorous Blairite wankaz who call themselves New Labour pushing for another leadership vote coz they don't like Corbyn, then he keeps his position with an even bigger majority and they still want to go again till ‘they’ get the outcome ‘they’ want.
If the Democrats had put Bernie Sanders up against Trump they’d have won, but they thought they were being clever ‘Trumps got no chance, we could put a fucking monkey up against him n win, in fact lets put a woman up to prove the point’
Start stocking your cellars with beans/instant mash/bottled water and bog rolls, were on our way to the big one!
Briss you make sure the 1935 chateauneuf du pape is safe and you have plenty of cheese n biscuits to see you through the nuclear winter. -
