He's been capped six times by his country, and played over 200 games for Werder Bremen. Still only 32 as well, but ever since his Hoffenheim contract was mutually terminated at the start of the year, Tim Weise has been working out.
So much so that WWE (pretty popular in Germany) are rumoured to be interested in signing him up. Here's a brilliant quote from the man himself: “I have an official enquiry from the WWE. It’s about working for them as a wrestler. I will listen. I don’t shit my pants. Why should I immediately say no? Wrestling is very popular, especially in the States. I will go through the enquiry with my agent next week.”
Trash-talking already, he'll be just fine.
