FOR SALE: THE ORIGINAL GT40
Carroll Shelby's 1964 prototype is up for auction in Texas next month.

Not only is it a genuine piece of history, it goes as well. The original 4.7 litre V8 is all present and correct.

Expect it to fetch ridiculous money...

wow what a awesome car prefer this one to the remake they did of it love to see a classic in all its glory and I'm pretty sure its going for a massive price tag but will be well worth the buy i suppose.

This is a true classic and I can only imagine it will sell for a ridiculous amount of money. I would love to see these kind of cars on the UK roads, as classics never fade away, yet we just love to buy the latest model of even shitty cars lol.

Went to auction over the weekend, sold for $7m.

$7m is a bargain.

Expect that to double over the next 10 years.
