He raced this in the 1969 British Grand Prix, and Richard Attwood and Dave Charlton would later have a go in it too.
Decent pedigree then, and when it goes up for auction at the Festival Of Speed later this month it's expected to fetch between £700,000 and £1m.

That is one of the best Grand Prix cars ever. Another example of the genius that was Colin Chapman. That car introduced the Ford DFV into formula one and used it as a stressed component, hanging the entire rear end off it.
Now the problem is that I don't have a million. So I have set up a new bank account and if you could all contribute then I might get somewhere near.
