New Zealand's fourth most popular folk duo are back! Yess!

They previewed their new special 'Live at the London Apollo' with this appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night.



The full show will premiere October 6th in the U.S on HBO. No word yet on when the UK will be getting a slice of the action, but hopefully soon!

Song was bloody hilarious too, right?

I love it when the guys do the layered vocals with both of them singing different things. It always sounds so good. Seems lie the kind of song that will still have meaning as well after a few listens and the jokes have worn off which I think is a must of songs like this.

I know what you mean. I was thinking about the crescendo of "I'm Not Crying" last night and how it's a joke song yet the dual vocals make it so powerful. An absolute delight to see these two working together again and can't wait for the new season. Maybe have to do seasons 1 and 2 on the run-up.

Not loving this one quite as much.

Got the live show recorded and will probably watch it some time this week. Yes, that second song isn't as good. I'm not much of a fan of all the talking beforehand either. They could probably shorten the talking quite a bit. Seems to drag on. The song has a touch of Cool For Cats by Squeeze about it which I like.
