Whenever Simon Pegg and Nick Frost team up for a movie you know it’s going to be good. The pair who brought you The World’s End and Shaun of the Dead have just announced they upcoming series titled Truth Seekers.

The new Amazon horror comedy centres around the ghost hunting community in the UK and the film promises to be hilarious and super scary. Check out the official synopsis:

Quote:Starring Nick Frost as Gus and Simon Pegg as Dave, Truth Seekers is a horror comedy series about a team of part-time paranormal investigators who team up to uncover and film ghost sightings across the UK, sharing their adventures on an online channel for all to see.
However, as they stake out haunted churches, underground bunkers and abandoned hospitals with their array of homemade ghost-detecting gizmos, their supernatural experiences grow more frequent, more terrifying and even deadly, as they begin to uncover a conspiracy that could bring about Armageddon for the entire human race.

That definitely sounds the the perfect Friday night entertainment. Throw in some Chinese food and you’re onto a winner. Truth Seekers will be released on Amazon Prime Video later this year.
