Heard they wanted to do it but never did.Not all films that deserve a sequel do get one, due to the nature of hollywood some great films which have great sequel potential never get one entirely because of box office, and then you also have films like Paranormal activity and the hangover (which i really liked) which regardless of whether they were popular or not never needed a sequel.
