  Basically any Danny Boyle Film, Jurassic Park, Pan's Labyrinth, The secret of Kells, Amelie (beautiful soundtrack), Road to Perdition, Girl with a Pearl Earring, Requim for a Dream., I could go on. I basically reckon all the modern-day classical masterpieces are written for/contained in films.

  Just searching through play.com and found Giorgio's Moroders Metropolis on DVD Steelbook, I really liked this reworking although some people hated it... anyway if you're interested here it is..

  Rubbish film but for some reason I like the songs... Armageddon. A good film with a really good soundtrack is Donnie Darko, some amazing Michael Andrews songs, and that cover of Mad world

  The only movie sound track album I own is Brother Where Art thou which starred George Clooney in a modern remake of Homers Odessey . Quite a nice little film and good fun to watch but the sound track which was put together by Van Dyke parks was amazing real Blue grass music .

  The soundtrack for the Hobbit@ The Desolation of Smaug was very good, Ed sheeran wrote that song for the film and it came of very well

  one of my favourites has to be klint diamond soundtrack from the movie snatch, its an absolute classic

  My favourite movie soundtracks include some better known ones such as all 3 Hans Zimmer recent Batman soundtracks, Hans Zimmer's Man of Steel soundtrack and the Donnie Darko soundtrack. A couple of lesser known soundtracks that i love are The Wraith soundtrack and The Dark Knight Returns soundtrack. I recommend checking them all out although The Wraith soundtrack will probably be pretty difficulf to get hold of nowadays.
